Good Morning,
The seed corn is nearly all planted at Cornelius Seed which means deatsseling is around the corner.
They are looking for 14 year olds and up to hire for the 2021 detasseling season. Attached is a detasseling application and a link to a detasseling information video. They will need at least 100 detasselers to assist us with this critical piece of our production cycle.

Wednesday May 26, 2021 will be a FULL day of school and NOT a 1:30 early dismissal as stated on the school calendar. Our last day of school for students is now May 28,2021 with a 1:30 early dismissal.

Lots of fun in after school this week!
First grade got to learn about trade with Jenna Stevens with the Jackson County Farm Bureau. They did a fun activity dealing with trading different goods. After trading they got to rate their satisfaction score. Thank you Jenna!

To celebrate our wonderful planet, Andrew Middle School students spent part of the afternoon collecting waste around our school campus and the city park.
We were surprised by the amount of garbage bags of trash we collected!
