Hello Andrew Families,
2026 Bellevue Boys and Girls Youth Baseball and Softball Registration is now OPEN and registration is due March 27th. This due date is necessary so our committee has sufficient time to determine teams and get shirts ordered. After March 27th, the fees are increased by $20 per child. Also, any registrations received after March 27th are not guaranteed admittance into the league, depending on if the team selection process has already been finalized. The registration link is at the bottom of this email. Any child that is between 4 and 12 years old as of April 30th is eligible to play. Kids will be placed into the following leagues based on their age/grade as of 4/30/26. No exceptions will be granted to have kids play up a level.
T-Ball: 4-year-old (as of 4/30/26) through Kindergarten
Rookie Ball: 1st and 2nd grades
Minors: 3rd and 4th grades
Majors: 5th and 6th grades plus any 7th graders that are 12 as of 4/30/26
Similar to last year, we are using a 100% paperless registration system. We understand that some may not be able to pay online via credit card. If you prefer to write a check, you can drop it off at Bellevue State Bank to Jacob Sturm. All checks must be made payable to Bellevue Ball Association, and in the Memo section of the check, please include the names of the youth that you are paying for. You still must register online if paying by check. In order to complete the online registration without paying online, please enter the discount code “BBACHECK”. This will provide a 100% discount for the online registration so it can be completed without submitting payment online. Registrations will not be considered complete until payment is received either online or via check. This must be done by March 31st, 2026.

Similar to last year, the Board for the Bellevue Little League has decided to split our TBall Program into 2 leagues. We will have a TBall - Beginners and a TBall - Experienced league. The two leagues will have the same exact rules, but will split the players based on their experience and ability to focus during the game. We feel this decision is in the best interest of the players as there can be a big gap in talent and ability to focus between kids in the 4-6 age group. See below for information on how the leagues will be split and what is needed as a response from parents.
Kids 4 years old as of 4/30/26 must play in the TBall - Beginners league.
Kids ages 5-6 as of 4/30/26 can play in either league. We encourage parents to put their child in the league that best fits their abilities.
Parents: If your child is 5 or 6, we will send out a follow up email later this month to request your choice for which league your child will participate in. Be on the lookout for this email and please respond promptly.

Six of Andrew's finest singers were selected to attend the Jackson County Children's Choir Festival in Maquoketa last Friday. They have rehearsed in school with Mrs. Stevely, as well as with community member, Pamela Crawford, for the last couple of months. Last Friday while attending the festival, these students practiced from 9 AM until 4 PM, then had their concert at 5 PM. What a long day, but they were fantastic!
Shoutout to Averi Schmidt, Hayden Veach, Ed Szabo, Cohen Kirchhoff, Avery Gerardy, and Lili Portz for an all-around excellent job while at this event. They were rock stars!
Thank you to Amy Hanisch and Pamela Crawford for this wonderful opportunity for a few of our Andrew students!

We wanted to clarify some upcoming days of school with you, as we know it is getting confusing with teams going to the state tournament and the times the schools are giving the older Andrew students (7th-12th grade) off from school.
- First of all, Andrew will have No School on Friday, March 6th, and Monday, March 9th. March 6th is a comp day for confernces and Monday is Professional Learning Day for teachers.
- Andrew does have school as normal on Tuesday, March 10th. However, Bellevue students do not, so the community can go support their Boys Basketball Team at State.
- Andrew will be running a REGULAR SCHEDULE on Wednesday, March 11th. Even though Bellevue schools will be running a 2-hour late start schedule due to the state basketball game, our students will begin on time at 8:00 am. Any MS/HS students who normally ride the bus to Bellevue will be picked up on a 2-hour delayed schedule. The bus will stop at school to pick up town kids, planning to leave for Bellevue around 9:30 am.
Thank you!
Just a reminder that today and tomorrow, March 4th & 5th, are 1:30 early dismissals due to conferences. There is no after school LEAP either day.
There is also no school on Friday, March 6th or Monday, March 9th.
We wanted to let you know that Mr. Skogen (PE) and Mr. Romsa (TAG) will be here on Wednesday night for conferences. Mrs. Wolter (Art) will be here Thursday night, and Mrs. Stevely (Music) will be here both nights. Please feel free to stop and talk with them about your child's progress in their settings.
If they are gone on the day you are here for conferences, please feel free to stop in the night they are here, or send them an email. They would be more than happy to reach back out to you about your child's progress in their settings and answer any questions you may have.
Thanks,
Andrew Staff

Dear Families,
We are asking all families to please complete the MRA (Measurable Results Assessment) through Leader in Me by March 20 using the link below. We will also have computers set out at conferences to complete this survey as well.
The information gathered from this survey is very important and will be used to help guide goal-setting and improvement efforts moving forward at our school.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and support our continued growth.
