I’m reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for all K–5th grade girls and boys in your school community. We’re launching a brand-new Cub Scout Pack—Pack 3238—right in Maquoketa, and we’d love to invite your students to our “Fishing with Friends” event happening this Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Horseshoe Pond!
Attached is a virtual flyer with all the details. It’s a fun, free event designed to introduce families to Cub Scouting in a relaxed and friendly setting. We’re working hard to get this new pack up and running to serve the youth in your community, and events like this help us connect with families who might be interested.
The Andrew Parent Lighthouse Team is hosting a euchre tournament at Moore Local on Saturday October 25th from 6 PM - 10 PM. This is a fundraising activity to support student activities at the school.
$20 a person or $30 a couple.

Tomorrow evening, October 16th, from 4-7 PM, we will have a food truck outside of the school. The Boar's Nest will be returning for our 2nd night of Parent Teacher Conferences, and will be parked right outside the office. Please feel free to stop by and grab dinner for the night! Our annual Veterans Day Assembly will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 2:00 PM in the New Gym. All Andrew students will be a part of this program. Everyone is welcome, especially the Veterans in our community. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
We encourage all Andrew students and friends attending to please wear red, white, blue, or camouflage to the assembly.

- Every student will be photographed
- Order forms can be filled out and returned with payment on or before picture day

- Pictures will be available to purchase throughout the year. Please note, after sale prices are a bit higher than pre-sale prices, and a fee for shipping will be charged.
