Before Kaden was a Bellevue Comet, he was an Andrew Hawk! Let us all rally together to support Kaden!! Attached are two ways anyone can help. One is a cupcake fundraiser and the other is a golf outing fundraiser. There will also be a booth at the Jackson County Fair.

Here is a link to view the 2025 Running Readers pictures and videos. This is an event where we get members from the community to come in and read to the students. They rotate around to the different classrooms, some with costumes. Mr. Fee is usually a big hit with all the students.

Last day of Summer LEAP. I think everyone had fun. See you kiddos in August!

Tomorrow, July 2nd is the last day for Summer LEAP until August. A reminder will be sent out the beginning of August. LEAP will be going swimming tomorrow. Please make sure your students have sunscreen and a towel

Summer LEAP spent today hiking at Eden Valley. Then, went back to school for some ice cream.

Summer LEAP will be going through Wednesday, July 2nd. On Monday, June 30th, we will be hiking at Eden Valley. Please make sure your students are wearing either tennis shoes or hiking boots.

LEAP will be going swimming tomorrow (Friday). Please make sure your students have towels and sunscreen. Life jackets need to be Coast Guard approved

With tomorrow's forecast, LEAP will be going swimming. Please make sure that if your student is bringing a flotation device, it needs to be Coastguard approved.

CURRENT JOB OPENING TAG Teacher (Shared between Delwood & Andrew) Andrew Elementary and Delwood Elementary are two premier PreK-6 grade schools located 13 miles apart in eastern Iowa. Each school shares the same passion to meet the educational needs of the ~150 students that each building serves. We are seeking a shared Talented and Gifted Teacher who will be split between both schools. The selected candidates will be responsible for leading our robust, talented, and gifted program, which includes overseeing the identification process, developing individualized learning plans, providing instruction to individual students/small groups, and collaborating with other teachers in order to meet the needs of all students. Other duties will include supporting student group participation in Math Bee, Battle of the Books, and other activities geared toward the needs of Talented and Gifted students. Certification in the area of Talented and Gifted Education is preferred, but we will consider high-quality candidates if they are willing to get a conditional license until certification can be obtained. Andrew CSD and Delwood CSD pride themselves on being innovative and high-performing schools. Culminating Activity Day was a blast. Summer School and Summer LEAP students had a great time.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, LEAP will be going to the splash pad. Please have your student dress appropriately.

If your student attended Summer School and/or Summer LEAP, this is a reminder that tomorrow is our Culminating Activity Day at the fairgrounds. Lunch will be provided. Please have your students at school at 9:15. We will be back to school and ready for pickup at 3:00.

It was definitely a hot one out there, but that didn't stop LEAP from celebrating Miss Alyssa's birthday at her favorite place. The Maquoketa Caves. Then some ice cream to cool off.

LEAP will be going to the Maquoketa Caves tomorrow. Please make sure your students dress for the occasion. No sandals. Tennis shoes or boots would be best.
