In math today, the 6th grade class had a gallery walk as a way to practice our critical thinking skills. If we had any questions, we had to ‘flag’ the cards in the sort.

Fun with the River Museum tonight. The kids got to touch cockroaches, beetles and millipedes and look at a tarantula and scorpion. The kids then drew a picture of their favorite bug from tonight and wrote about it! 🐛 🕷 🐜

Italian physicist, Enrico Fermi loved asking bizarre questions like “How many times does your heart beat in one year?” It IS possible to answer such a crazy question by asking other smaller questions. So, 6th grade explored some of their own Fermi Problems during Math today!
