Andrew Families! The Boar's Nest is coming to Andrew School! This Thursday, from 4-7pm, The Boar's Nest Food Truck will be here during our second night of conferences. They will be parked on the small drive in between the school and the ball fields. If you are in the school, you will walk out the doors by the gymnasium. If you and your family are interested, come on out and grab some food from their food truck. We are so excited to host them here at Andrew! Maquoketa CSD is dismissing early tomorrow due to their girls varsity basketball team competing in the state tournament. All Andrew resident students who ride the shuttle bus back from Maquoketa MS/HS will be picked up by our Andrew bus at the early dismissal time and transported home. Our elementary students will be transported home after school at their regular route time.

Reminder. Due to conferences next week, there will be no after-school LEAP on Wednesday, March 5th, and Thursday, March 6th.

Spring Concert Announcement!! ⚾️ This year’s Spring Concert will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, in the Andrew Gymnasium at 6:30. Family and friends are encouraged to attend! In order for us to get students in the correct order and down to the gym in time for our performance, we are asking students to arrive at 6:15 and report to their classrooms. Students in grades K-3 are encouraged to wear nice, spring-colored attire. Students in grades 4-6 are encouraged to wear Baseball/athletic attire (ex. baseball caps, pants, gloves, etc.) Please be aware that there will be a short intermission before the 4th-6th grade mini-musical, “It’s A Hit!” If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Bailey Stevely by email at bailey.stevely@andrew.k12.ia.us or by Seesaw. This is a reminder for parents who signed up to ride the bus for the ski trip. Please be at school no later than 12:45 tomorrow, Wednesday, February 26th.

The Andrew School will be having a two hour delay on Tuesday, February 18 due to extremely cold temperatures. There will be no morning LEAP.

The Andrew Community School District is proud to announce the launch of the Andrew Virtual Academy. We have partnered with Great Hearts, a leader in online learning, to offer families throughout Iowa the opportunity to enroll in a K-12 online school. Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, the LEAP ski trip has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 26th. If you were signed up to chaperone, and you will not be able to make it, please contact the school so adjustments can be made. Thank you

Maquoketa CSD has cancelled classes for today due to a bus driver shortage. Andrew CSD will still operate on a 2-hour Late Start. Thank you.

Hello Andrew Families! Tomorrow is the last day to turn in Ukulele Club Permission Slips. If your student is wanting to participate and they have not turned one in, today and tomorrow are the last chances to do so. Once all forms are turned in tomorrow afternoon, I will confirm who is in each group and then we will begin next week! The Monday group will start next Monday, February 3rd, and the Thursday group will start next Thursday, February 6th.
