Due to high classroom temperatures, the Andrew School will be dismissing at 1:30 pm again today, Friday, August 27. The weather next week looks much more favorable so we plan to return to our full day schedule all week. Thanks for your flexibility and understanding.

Parents: check your students bags for the Leap form that went home today! Leap is a FREE before and after school program for students in Kindergarten-8th grade! Please return these forms by Thursday August 26th.

We had an incredible start to what we expect is going to be an incredible year at Andrew Community School District. As we prepare for day two we wanted everyone to know that we will be monitoring temperatures tomorrow. The heat index is projected over 100 degrees. Make sure you have plans in place in the event that we need to release two hours early due to heat.

We wanted to inform you all we will not be having LEAP the first week of school. We will be getting things organized and students signed up to participate the first week of school. Our goal is to get LEAP up and running starting the week of Monday, August 30th.

Hello All, Hoping everyone is having a great summer. Just wanted to let you all know that online registration is open for the upcoming school year. You should be receiving an envelope in the mail in the next couple of days with directions to follow. Please be sure to log into the 2021-2022 school year and complete all of the steps. Your username is the parents last name and your password is located on the direction sheet. If you have any questions or need/want to come into school to register please feel free to email me or call the school 563 672-3221 and set up an appointment. Also included in the envelope is an application for free and reduced priced meals. Once again this year all students will be receiving a free breakfast and a free lunch but, if you feel that your family may qualify for additional benefits you must complete the application and return it to school.
