LEAP could not have asked for7th better weather yesterday for our annual ski trip. Thank you to all of our parents who volunteered their time to help chaperone. Thank you to Sundown Mountain Resort for an amazing time.
If your student is signed up to go on the LEAP ski trip, please make sure they bring their snow gear with them to school tomorrow.

Our K-6 students got the pleasure of seeing Gareth Johnson, a Violinist who plays music from classical to hip-hop yesterday at the Ohnward. He plays music for huge events all around the world and has been recognized as one of the best in the field nationwide. The students brought home a flyer yesterday on how you can see his performance. He will be performing with his entire band at the show. Below is a link to give you a little taste of some of his talents.

The 4th graders have been working on some snow plow designs in art class. Yesterday, they were able to learn more about snow plows and see how their design compared to the real thing. They also got to climb inside the truck, see all the levers, and, of course, honk the horn!!

Reminder to get your students signed up on Sun Down Mountain website for our annual LEAP Ski Trip. If you are signed up to chaperone as well as ski, you need to register also. If you are just planning on being a chaperone, you do not need to register. If there are any questions please call the school.

Tonight, a note is coming home about considering helping your child in a Penny War against other schools and classrooms across Jackson County. We are all working together to raise money for the Jackson County Conservation's new exhibit.

Reminder K-6th grade will be attending the hockey game tomorrow! Please make sure your student is here by 8:00AM as we will be leaving shortly after! No money is needed as the meal and drink will be provided (turkey sandwich, chips, and water).If your student would like to bring their own lunch that is fine. Please have them wear the Andrew leadership shirt.
Please join us for the 2024 Parent Lighthouse Trivia Night on Saturday, February 10th. This event is a fundraiser for the Andrew School and Andrew Fire Station all in one event. We have some games and activities planned between rounds to make this event even more fun!! Attached is the flyer for this event with information and your children will be bringing a hard copy home later this week.

We recently heard they are anticipating around 6,000 students at the Hockey Game on Thursday, February 1st. To help us keep track of all our students, we are asking our students to please wear their Yellow Leadership Shirts.
