Greetings Andrew Community,
Hello! My name is Kaylie Johnson (the one with the glasses) and I am the new 5th and 6th-grade teacher at Andrew! I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in December of 2021, where I earned a degree in both Elementary and Middle-Level Education as well as a K-8 reading endorsement. In January I started substitute teaching in Dubuque, which I have been doing for the past couple of months. I am very excited to begin my teaching career at Andrew!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading books, and going on walks! I love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings with a passion, gardening or anything to do with flowers really, and making crafts. I can't wait to start the school year, get to know, and start working with the students at Andrew!
