We know that extra-curricular activities can extend learning beyond the school day. Children that get involved in extra-curriculars develop perseverance, social skills, and healthy habits, as well as many other positive life skills.
The Andrew School District is proud to partner with our Maquoketa-Area YMCA to offer these types of opportunities to our students. If you are interested in registering your child in upcoming soccer, softball, or baseball programs please fill out the registration form below and return to the YMCA.
In addition to individual registrations, the YMCA is also seeking to expand opportunities for school-based teams to be able to register and compete in YMCA organized leagues. If you currently coach a school-based team or have an interest in organizing a school-based team please email superintendent Chris Fee at chris.fee@andrew.k12.ia.us. He will be happy to provide guidance, answer questions, and assist in connecting you with the families of other students in your child’s grade to try to assemble a team. We have found this to be a great option for kids to strengthen friendships with their classmates and build cohesion among their team.
