Future Ready

Andrew Community Schools has taken a journey the past three years to become a digital school. This page has been created to showcase that journey as well as begin to map out our next steps to become #FutureReady for our students!

Background: In 2011, Andrew CSD made the difficult decision to close the doors to the high school and enter a whole grade share agreement with Maquoketa and Bellevue School Districts. Andrew maintains today a PK-8 school district. Currently our district has a certified enrollment of 272.3 students. Our district plays a major role in the economy and future of the Andrew area.

Vision: Andrew CSD is a "Leader In Me" school and takes great pride in our leadership and technology programs for students. Our vision statement is "Learning today to be Leaders tomorrow". To be a leader in today's school we know that we must equip students and teachers with the latest technology tools to be successful! We also know that technology itself will not transform schools. Andrew focuses our efforts in PLCs, common core, The Leader in Me, and many other areas that build the whole child at Andrew CSD.
