Meeting called to order. Margarette reviewed the minutes from the October 5, 2011 meeting and Ruth gave the current financial report.
Christy stated she updated the Request form and removed the travel section. The new one is out on the school website.
Christy is still working on the By Laws once completed she will bring to the next meeting.
The new technology tags have been ordered. Ruth will contact Linda for final cost on the technology tags for the student’s new laptops.
Ruth will send Lisa Dursky an e-mail asking what the final cost for the play was.
Christy will be sending a personal letter out to all business for the golf outing thanking them for their donations. There was a “thank you” that was put in the Hawk Harold
Everything went very well with the soup and sandwich dinner for the teachers conferences and they were very appreciative of this. Thanks for all that helped out!
Christy and Ruth talked about the concession stand and admission for the King and Queen Volleyball and Basketball tournament. Christy will check with Karen on ordering hotdogs and Ruth will check the candy supply and get supplies for taco in a bag. Tracy Till has volunteered to help with the Volleyball tournament. Volleyball – November 25th, 2011 starting at 4 p.m. and Basketball – November 26th, 2011 starting at 10 a.m. This is a fundraiser for the school and also a chance to be reacquainted with some of Andrew’s Finest past and present people! Volleyball – Each team MUST consist of a minimum of 6 players and MUST have a minimum of 3 women on the floor at all times NO EXCEPTIONS!!! There is a $50 entry fee per team.
Basketball – Each team MUST consist of a minimum of 5 players and MUST have a minimum of 2 women on the floor at all times NO EXCEPTIONS!!! There is a $50 entry fee per team.
Christy wanted to know if a date has been set for “Spirit Week” in January.
The members talked about and decided to charge $1 admission for the King and Queen tournament. Margarette will be doing a sign-up sheet for volunteers to work the concession stand and admission table, which is attached.
The members talked about a request from Jill Kilburg, Chris Kilburg & Sharon Asmussen for a Parent and Child Magazine subscription for $24 and this would be sent home with every child in pre-school and Kindergarten. Christy will contact those involved since they were not at the meeting to present this to find out more details.
