Believe it or not, it's time to start gearing up for summer school, and our LEAP program has 30 days of jam packed action for all Andrew students who have recently completed grades K-8th. Registrations are being sent home this week and can also be accessed here: http://5il.co/34ms
Monday and Friday are designated field trip days for students to get out and explore Jackson County and the surrounding areas. The program will meet from 8am - Noon. Transportation is not provided to and from school on Monday or Friday.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday features all day programming from 8am-3pm. Summer School runs from 8am-11:30am. Lunch runs from 11:30am-12:30am and is provided free of charge to all students and community members 18 and under every day. Afternoon Enrichment runs from 12:30pm-3pm. Transportation is provided from in-district daycares only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Our Summer program will also feature a Leadership Academy on August 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd from 8am-Noon. Students will have an opportunity to review the Habits in fun and engaging ways!
All summer programs are free to attend for Andrew students who have recently completed grades K-8th, and are made possible through the Iowa 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant and the Jackson County Grade Level Reading Campaign!
