Andrew Library Grant
The new K-8 Andrew Community School Library is full of smiles and new books thanks to the generous grant from the Community Foundation of Jackson County.  The Community Foundation of Jackson County is very supportive of libraries and education in our communities and hopes to benefit students and community members, alike.  The gift of $1000 to the Andrew Community School Library was used to purchase high interest library books for all age levels.  A special thanks goes to Julie Veach, who was instrumental in contacting the Community Foundation of Jackson County and expressed the school's need for new high interest books.  The books were put on display November 16 for a preview day.  Here, students are holding up just a few of the new books and eagerly waiting for their turn to check them out!

Middle School Dinner & Play - FRIDAY NIGHT!

posted Oct 26, 2011 7:21 AM by Andy Crozier

The Andrew Middle School will be hosting three plays on October 28, 2011. The 6th
grade play is entitled, “Beauty is a Beast”. Itʼs message emphasizes that beauty comes
from your actions and not just outward appearance. The 7th grade play is a comical
retelling of the Trojan War. It is called, “The Hysterical History of the Trojan War” and
includes audience participation by cheering on the heroes. Our last play will be
preformed by the 8th graders. It is the Hawaiian version of Cinderella and involves the
audience by letting them join in on their luau scene. There will be a 10 minute
intermission between each play. A soup supper and bake sale will start of the night of
entertainment. Everyone is welcome - hope to see you attend!

Dinner - 5 p.m.

Play - 6 p.m.
